Omnipod 5 Pods

The Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System is Australia’s first tubeless, waterproof, and automated insulin pump, designed for people with type 1 diabetes (ages 2+). Compatible with the Dexcom G6, G7 and Freestyle Libre 2 Plus, Omnipod 5 delivers insulin without tubes, injections, or finger pricks.

Each Omnipod 5 Pod lasts up to 3 days and can be worn almost anywhere you’d inject insulin. With automatic insertion, there’s no need to see or handle a needle – just press a button, and you’re good to go!

How to Access Omnipod 5 Through the NDSS:

✅ Register with the NDSS and have type 1 diabetes

✅ Submit an Insulin Pump Consumable (IPC) Access Form signed by your diabetes health professional

✅ Choose between private health insurance or a monthly subscription 

✅ Once approved, order Pods through your local NDSS Access Point (pharmacy).

Each box contains 10 pods.
